In 1969 six masterpieces were stolen from a wealthy art collector. The paintings by Cassatt Cézanne Gauguin Monet Picasso and Van Gogh were never found. Kit Sedgwick granddaughter of the victim recently inherited Witherly Mansion. This is where the theft took place. She hires art dealer Amanda Edge to look into the crime. According to rumors the paintings were never sold in the illegal market.
